The Cat Fanciers’ Association Announces Most Popular Breeds for 2015
February 1, 2016
The Exotic Breed Takes Top Spot for Second Year
The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) – the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats – has recently announced their most popular cat breeds for 2015, based on registration totals for the period January 1 – December 31, 2015. CFA, a not-for-profit registry, is the most well-known and influential cat registry in the world.
Busy cat owners who like the look of a Persian, but don’t have time for daily grooming sessions, have made the Exotic the most popular cat breed according to the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) registration statistics.
The Exotic is bred to meet the Persian standard in every way with one very special exception: the coat. The thick, plush, short coat gives the Exotic a soft, rounded, teddy bear look.
